More information has arrived from The Philippines regarding the conditions and needs of the children's families following the destruction of Typhoon Ketsana.  Giving reaches $11,633 as of 10-7-09.  COP and Women of the Church of God partner in Ecuador.

There is an urgent need for relief in The Philippines following the flooding and devastation of typhoon Ketsana.  Sponsored children's home have been inundated and many, many homes damaged or lost completely.

Staff and sponsors have returned from site visits to Uganda, Russia, and Ghana.  Facebook continues to grow.

The six-minute version of the new award-winning Children of Promise video, "Journey of the Heart" is now available online.

Linda Mason and Wendy Weeks are on assignment in Thailand, interviewing sponsored children and meeting with program leaders.  As always, children's stories have touched their hearts.

COP Sponsors and North Carolina Medical Team Visit Children in Uganda.  Medical checkups and personal interviews have been conducted with the sponsored children.

Sponsors and staff worshipped with a full house at the First Church of God in Manuguit in Manila yesterday.  Joanne Hendrick did a great job sharing an important story and illustration with the children.  It was hot, but we wouldn't have missed the experience for anything. 

Sponsors and staff are working hard, but having a great time in The Philippines.  The local staff has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.  But, the real story is in the visits to the homes and the children.
